I am trying to install Elementary, but I can't figure out which partition is which.
My HDD is 500 GB.

I am dual booting. I also have Ubuntu installed but I hate Ubuntu.

Looks like you haven't set up an unused partition.  That looks like a very standard UEFI formatted hard drive.

How would I go as to set up an unused partition?

create a gparted live disk or use your Windows 7 installation disk to reconfigure them.

i dont know anything about using linux but just use math to convert 500gb to mb to see

if your main hdd already has an os on it, you cant easily split it now.
you should have partitioned it before installing any os'

just hit the dual boot with windows 7 option from the installation menu, it partitions for you

Create a new partition. After that install it there.
Also make some swap space, or you will get that dreaded grub loader....
