Author Topic: I want a gaming headset. How's this one?  (Read 3269 times)

that would be awful, you couldn't hear anything and so much audio leaking.

What are you talking about? I have my games through speakers and voice through my headset. My mic doesn't pick up anything from the speakers and it all sounds good.

That just sounds too xbox-y. All through the headset IMO

So since we're talking about headsets, what's recommended for xbox?

But it's missing the entire point of wearing headphones.  It's like pushing your car to work everyday.

What does that even mean? Too xbox-y? I hate having it all through my headset because music and games all drown out the voice chat.

What are you talking about? I use a headset so I have clear voice chat. I don't use it to listen to music. My speakers sound better than headphones, so I use them. Your brown townogy makes no sense at all.

But you're blocking your ears off while using an outside source, it makes no sense.  You get no benefit from the better quality of the speakers when you're just covering them up with your headphones.

I went ahead and ordered an ASUS zonar dgx soundcard too. Don't wanna tie up my POD.

I bought a pair of X12's once and they were alright. Nothing special but not too bad either, the sound quality was reasonable and the microphone never really screwed up.

I wouldn't recommend them though.
