Shut down is in 1 week. Prepare for the worst but don't go bat stuff crazy.

Used to want Obamacare.  Now it's just a haven for entitled forgets.  It ought to be removed, because as I am concerned, it's just more taxes to pay going for those who won't work.  Now, a government program for those who are unable to work because of a disability is another story.  The Republicans have a right to be stubborn, but I believe that at other's expense, it's just wrong.

Apparently shutdown's have happened before in the past, so we should be okay.

It ain't the Republicans, guys. It's stupid people. You can have smart Republicans, and you can have stupid Republicans. The same goes for Democrats. Unfortunately for us, most government officers these days aren't the brightest fish in the tank - that or they simply don't know how to reach a compromise or make proper decisions.

Really, at this point, I'm not considering myself Republican or Democrat. I'm siding with they guy or group of people who are trying to do things that would legitimately improve the well being of our country.

Yeah he's saying you have no idea what you're talking about, because you don't. Now listen closely to the following and actually soak in some reality, okay?

• ObamaCare's goal is give more Americans access to affordable, quality health insurance and to reduce the growth in health care spending in the U.S.

• The fact is ObamaCare does not replace private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. If you have health coverage you like, you can keep it.

• ObamaCare regulates some of the worst practices of the for-profit health care industry.

• Many of Obamacare's numerous provisions have already been enacted. The rest of the program starts in 2013-2014 and continues to roll out until 2022. Over 100 million Americans have already benefited from the new health care law.

• ObamaCare offers a number of new rights and protections including (but in no means limited to) requiring that all insurance plans cover preventive services and provide new essential health benefits.

• ObamaCare stops insurance companies from dropping you when you are sick or if you make an honest mistake on your application, prevents against gender discrimination and requires all insurers to cover people with pre-existing conditions.

• About 26 million people are projected to be exempt from having to obtain health coverage.

• To help make buying affordable health insurance easy ObamaCare creates State specific health insurance marketplaces (also known as exchanges) where Americans without health coverage can shop for health insurance using cost assistance.

• Young adults can now stay on their parents health insurance plans until they are 26.

• Up to 82% of nearly 16 million uninsured young U.S. adults will qualify for cost assistance or Medicaid through Obamacare's marketplaces.

• The amount of young people who sign up for insurance will greatly impact the effectiveness of the program, as healthy young adults are the least likely to use health care services.

...And the list goes on. And how does Obamacare "hurt" the people it was supposed to help? Please tell.

Oh yeah and the Republicans want us to default on our debt. They're holding hostage yet again. We're actually forgeted if that happens.
