Author Topic: Things to do in New York (City)  (Read 5772 times)

Stay in Manhattan. Queens has good food, but it's also good for getting your ass robbed.
One thing not overrated among the many overrated things in NYC is the food, so going out to eat is plenty fun.
Central Park is pretty. cigarettes will try to persuade you to buy a carriage ride, but ignoring them and walking is a great countermeasure.
Taxi drivers are usually nice but foreign, so be understanding and articulate carefully.
Hot dogs, ironically, are delicious from food stands. The true highlight of stands, though, are roasted almonds, the best snack ever. If you don't get any, then die.
Times Square is cool to see but other than that it's a crowded mass of douchebags who don't know how to walk so just stop by for a look then get out.
The Brooklyn Bridge is pretty cool- if you like long uninteresting walks and annoying foreigners.
If you guys leave the city as a whole, it might be worth going to Nassau County which borders Queens to the east. You will have the best pizza here and it's a nice middle class area in general, except for Elmont.

AND THEN MAYBE YOU CAN COME TO MY HOUSE IN FRANKLIN SQUARE!!!
I live in Queens. Never heard of anyone being robbed.

I recommend going to Hard Rock Cafe in New York City, it's really awesome they've got a bunch of beatles memorabilia too :)

It sucked when I went >:(

Eat at a restaurant that has a Michelin star
Buy a $1,200 designer skirt
Wake up in a Bugatti
Buy a Maserati GranTurismo
Ride in a blacked out Limo and pull up to a club wearing all Versace and have people take pictures of you because they think you're famous
Throw a party at a penthouse and fly in a select few blocklanders (including me) in a private jet
Collaborate with A$AP Rocky

visit the white house

Darn man, I missed that last time I went to NYC. Where is it?

The smell in NYC is horrible, it's just the stuffloads of pollution!

The food is the key favorite. When you come, go get a hotdog and buy a water bottle. Also, have good shoes! I'd suggest going to Nintendo World, the M&M place, and some of the game stops. I liked going to the top of the empire state building and taking some pictures. There are multiple Italian restaurants that you may enjoy, too.

Don't go into Harlem 'nor Queens. You'll get yourself robbed. Stay in Manhattan, just do it. Central park is a great place to go. Maybe climb the rocks and have a picnic with your family. I would also like to suggest going on a taxi ride, most of the taxi riders are nice and it's a nice/little experience. There are all assortments of scammers and carriage riders who want to take your money, so just ignore them. Also, watch the loving horsepoo. Just, watch for it.

After your day is finished, make sure to look at the city at night before you go. It's absolutely beautiful.

I live in Manhattan and I recommend going on the Empire State Building, going to the 9/11 Memorial, sight-seeing, Musuem of Modern Art in SoHo which is a few blocks away from me, and I also recommend the Holocaust Musuem in Battery Park which is also close to me. NYC has so much to do, it has everything.

Musicals are great.

Try the Book of Mormon and Kinky Boots, I really had a blast with that one.
Matilda if you don't want anything vulgar

Thanks for some of the great idea guys
I'm a vegetarian so unless they make some great veggie dogs there I don't think I'll be interested.
I really wanted to go to Washington Heights which is like where this play I like takes place but apparently people get shot there all the time so my mom said no :(
