Titanium Man's UI's!

Basic Borders V1

Basic Borders UI is a clean, basic, metro-style custom UI. It makes the game feel a bit more moody and block-ish.

Old Faithful V1

Old Faithful is a re-design of the original Blockland UI. It has a more modern, boxy look while still remaining loyal to the old UI.

Titanium Man's Brick Textures!

Blank Brick Textures

Who needs static shapes when you can have blank bricks!

Architect V1

Brick texture which has very thick border lines. It looked kinda architectural for some reason. Kinda resembles Borderlands a bit too.

Thin V1

Thin, boxy, plain brick texture. Not much else to say

Installation

First, download the ZIP file. After downloading, unzip the file and make sure the UNZIPPED folder goes into the add-ons folder of your Blockland install directory. Restart Blockland twice, and then the UI should work forever until uninstalled.

Uninstallation

Since the mod overwrites the default UI textures with read-only ones, simply removing the file from the add-ons folder will not uninstall the UI. After deleting the folder from add-ons folder, you then have to go to Blockland/base/client directory, and delete the UI folder. The next time you launch the game the launcher will automatically download the default UI files.

If you downloaded a brick texture edit, do the same exact steps as above only instead of deleting the UI folder, delete the "shapes" folder in Blockland/base/data directory.

Known Incompatabilities for UI's

  • Server Name Searcher - The top border in the server window seems to reset to the default style

Cute and simplistic.  I like it, except for the color set display.

It can be done in MS paint, yet it still looks good. What.

no it cant be made fully in ms paint because a few of the textures have some transparency in them which isnt possible in ms paint
take that

fyi I used GIMP

It does not work for me, and what I did was my interpretation of your instructions.

First I put the file on desktop, then made an empty folder in Blockland.

Since I have winrar, I extracted all those files into the empty folder in Blockland. Thats it.

Where did I go wrong?

ok read instructions carefully next time
all I said is that after unzipping the folder you put it into the addons folder in your blockland install directory
aka install it like any normal mod but just make sure that its unzipped
dont see whats so hard here

So I extract the images themselves into the add-ons folder? I'm still slightly confused.

when you unzip by default it should make its own folder of the same name
put the unzipped folder into the addons folder

Unzipped in winrar means the same thing as extract, correct?

yea

yea
I have tried that..
Here I even have pictures.

Here is the file itself.

And some of what it inside it.

And this is where it is, so I have no idea where I went wrong.

well it looks like you did everything correctly
works perfectly for me, i have no clue about you
could it be that inside the folder there is another folder that contains the picture files?
it should just be a single folder and only pictures inside, not a folder inside a folder which can sometimes happen

if it really doesn't work one way or another, you can copy and paste every single picture file inside the mod to blockland/base/client/ui and overwrite

Overwritting... that is making the images read only, correct?

how often do you even use windows?? lol
just copy and paste the pictures inside ui folder and click overwrite when the dialog pops up
