Author Topic: Blockland popping up in the younger generations?  (Read 3184 times)

I have talked about this game a lot in school but none decided to buy it. I've gotten over 10 of my online friends to buy the game though and all love it.

I'm not much for one to share it to personal friends though, not that I'd be embarressed by playing a lego rip off game, but my set of friends aren't interested in computer gaming or at the very least building.

So I usually feel superior when being the only player.

The two kids on the bus I've mentioned I have the owner of Roblox as a friend on facebook, David Baszucki

This actually happened to me. I was just talking to this random person and he knew the same people as I did from elementary school. I never seen him in person, but he knows the same person as me but different high school.

I started in 2nd grade
4 years later and still 'lovin it.

I've gotten one friend to play bl but nobody else I've heard has found out about it without me, did you ask those kids if they had a forum account or what their ign was by chance?

The only person I knew irl that played Roblox was a kid with Aspergers.

when i was in 6th grade i remember a kid saying he had heard of blockland but hadn't played on it because he just played old runescape and that was it. kinda sad.

I remember about 5 years ago when I first discovered Blockland, all on my own. I played the demo, and built a little yellow house with 149/150 of the demo bricks.
Pacnet2010/2013/20##, who is my little brother, purchased the game about 1.25 years after that or something. I used to play on his account. I got my own Blockland key about 3 years ago from today.
But I wasn't involved in the forums until 1.5 years ago.
I am now in 10th grade, and I discovered BL in 5th grade.
About 2 weeks ago, Pacnet successfully convinced a kid at school to buy Blockland.

actually that happened to me too lol i played the demo then asked my dad to buy the full membership. :P i told him it would never have to renew and so he bought it c: lol

in highschool this guy saw me browsing the blockland forums and told me that he played.

I told him my user name and he made a smirk and never talked to me again

literally a true story

see that's why i don't like telling people i play blockland

cause everyone is such a douchebag to everyone else and i don't want to kill friendships because it turns out they don't like me or i don't like them

I was in 5th grade when I joined this. I am now in Freshmen year. So I am guessing I played this for 4 years.

For 2 years I was just having fun, after those years, I started my first year scripting. After that year, I learned very fast, and then developed an RPG from scratch. The only issue, is the build.

I have a few friends that play blockland, and even my little cousins do. They even might spread it because they talk about it a lot. Ever since I mentioned it to them, they always were interested in it. They were happy that they met a game like this.

Every friend I've mentioned it to thinks it's either a game for kindergarteners or it's a copy of MC.

"Hey Sam, wanna play Blockland?"

"SOUNDS LIKE A MINECRAFT MOD LOL :^)"

Back in grade school we had the Blockland demo installed on all the lab computers.

Back in grade school we had the Blockland demo installed on all the lab computers.
so that's how you found out? or was it you?

if it wasn't you omg you should have found out who did that

My Nephew plays Roblox and Minecraft, I don't really want to tell him Blockland exists.
