Every server on Blockland is a private server. You aren't invited to it, you join it and then play around, you are prone to having the host or admin remove you for no reason necessary or anything being told to you.
and this drama is to warn hosts not to admin the admin in the drama because they administrate in a way that many hosts do not want admins to be like

the majority of the hosts warned not to administrate a badmin

You heard it here first folks!
A public server would be a server where you go around inviting anyone you meet, telling people "hey come to our quality" servers, adverts, whatever.
I thought every server was private?
Also those big online games where they have a ton of servers hosted by the creators of the game's servers, and not individual players.
What does that have to do with any of this?

What the forget do I even say to this?

If he taunted or insulted you, then fine make a drama, but all he did was ban you for a while for 'because', not something like "no Soniccigarettes allowed" . Just stop and take a break blur.

Actually I beg to differ, I've seen many administrators get the job by purely just being good friends with the host or being fun in general. I have a huge dislike for those hosts who act as if their server is some sort of online business and try to act all professional like they are CEO. They might need a clear reminder they are playing a game.

If you'd be paying attention to what I said before and not skimming through my replies, you'd know what I've said and why I said it.

Because that's what a private server is. Just because it has "public" or "private" in it's title doesn't define it as one. It needs to meet certain qualities for it to be one or the other. Let's just put it this way, if a server on a game is hosted by the individual customer who bought the game, it's a private server. If the server on a game is hosted, and advertised to the mass by the owner of the game, it is a public server. You can't create a game for people, sell it to them, then randomly pick on people you don't like, but you can create a server on that game after you bought it, and then do what you want, because the game as whole or all the other servers on it do not belong to you. It's one server out of hundreds of them.

I thought that all servers without a password are public and servers with passwords are private

That's not what I'm talking about. But yes that would be correct.

Servers hosted by individuals who bought the game are considered private servers.
Servers hosted by the individuals who own the game are considered private servers.

You can do whatever you want in one, and the other you can't.

Messed up, the second one should be "Servers hosted by the individuals who own(created) the game are considered public servers.

I'm sorry but I'm really loving confused about what you just said

so you're saying we can only get mad at servers owned by badspot and devs?

I think he's saying that badspot(or any other dev) is the only person who can host a public server

yeah but he said that private servers are when we can get banned for no reason whatsoever

and public servers (devs) are the only ones we can complain about

Either way it's bullstuff.

Yes, they are the creators of the game, they advertised it, they made you pay to play it.

They didn't create the other servers hosted by us though, it's basically "do what you want" out there, of course given you don't crash other people's servers or dumb crap like that. There's no global rules for servers. Badspot never said "don't ban people randomly at your server" or "don't cuss near children in your server" or whatever. Sure in your eyes they might be wrong if they do that, but they weren't written rules so you can't blame them can you now? "In your eyes" is exactly what's going on, these 'rules' or 'behavior patterns' are created by how the majority people act around you. You've either been hanging around very strict admins or you forced yourself to act as if the game needs to be a professional business or whatever you see it as. Me, I see it as entertainment. We are on two different pages here about how we see this work out. I'm just going to leave it at that, take it for what you want.
