For the record I've had multiple people close to me die, My older brother died in a car crash when I was in 7th grade.

Who the hell goes on a lego forum to announce that their girlfriend died? And do it in such a manner?

I hate this argument- describing the forum as nothing more than some Lego Forum not worth having real, personal conversations on. If you haven't noticed, there's a ton of people on these forums that barely play the game, which is the only thing making this a "lego forum." It's a very sociable community that's easy to talk with. If I was on the forums a lot and something like this just happened to me, after calming down and feeling at a loss I might just go to the forums to talk.

Also he did say that she was gone for a family trip, and mentioned that she died away from home. And in another thread he mentioned his neighbor was hitting on her. It's pretty obvious that this isn't an internet girlfriend.

And if your biggest beef is that he has suspicious word choice and bad grammar, that's a horrible thing to base a hunch on. There are people that are just not good with words, that doesn't make them a liar.
