Author Topic: Model Crashes Game  (Read 1092 times)

My model crashes blockland when I try to spawn this bus. http://www.mediafire.com/?9opu3duq931ghlm I'd post the launcher.log and console.log, but I've looked at those, and there's nothing unusual about them. If you want me to post them I will. I'm using Blender 2.49 with the DTS exporter Version 0.964. I've correctly named all bones (yes, bones, not armatures), and I have shape and detail32 and col0 and the collision box is named col. Does it matter if these are capitalized or not?

I think it might be caused by you having to many mounts, Blockland has a set amount you can have and I am pretty sure you are exceeding it.

did you model that in sketchup first? Just curious.
That model has a lot of polys.

Remove the text and make it a texture. It's probably the reason you're crashing and making it a mesh will at least quadruple your triangle count.

Ugh, I feel like an idiot. col wasn't parented to shape. So now the bus spawns, but is too small, the jeep wheels don't show, and the shading is totally jacked up. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=153908.0 Found this, gonna try what he says here, plus keep in mind what you guys have said. Thanks for the replies! :D

EDIT: Yes, I did. I really need to learn Blender. :/
