Next year is gonna suck for me at school.

This is how school works this year
Starts at 8 ends at 3:20. 7 classes each day for 50 minutes

Next year for school
Starts at 7:30 or 7:45 and ends later around 3:30. 4 Classes a day (block schedule) and classes are about and hour and 20 minutes.

Oh yeah and for lunch you have to have a 3.0 GPA or higher to leave campus. This doesnt affect me but others will cuz theres alot of stupid people.

Block scheduling is great, actually. You get less homework and the classes don't feel much longer. Plus, I don't know if it's from going to a vocational school or not, but class itself becomes interesting, as the teacher can go in depth with the topic at hand. Of course, it's not for everyone, but I certainly like it.

Your new school is the same time as my school.
I'm in middle school

(its a bit more advanced so, yeah.)

just this year my home school changed their times, now it starts around 7 and ends at 3. luckily i go to a better school now.

In middle school we used a block-schedule system, and I have to say that I much prefer my highschool's semester system. We get 4 classes the first semester (half of the year), and 4 new classes the second semester. Totals for 8 classes just like block scheduling, but less workload because you have less classes to worry about at any given time.

Oh, yeah, this is what my high school has. I thought this is what block scheduling was?

In my high school, the day starts at 7:40 and ends at 2:45. Each class is 55 minutes long. There's 6 classes a day, and lunch is 40 minutes.
I would call this a pretty average school schedule.

forgetin god damn I just want to leave the campus for lunch

The 12th graders at the school I go to get some perks such as parking lots for them.

The longer blocks are a godsend.

It sounds really stressing, my school starts at 9:00 dismissal is 3:00. It is good but the only problem is that the commute to my school is 1-2 hours away from me.

when i hear people complaining on the internet about how their school days suck, i usually just got home and it's like 5:30 PM

i'm fifteen

I get home at 1:30 PM because I have a free fourth period and only 4 periods per semester.

Next semester, I have a free third and fourth period so I'll get out of school at 11:12 AM.

Jelly?

Also, at our school only seniors can leave campus at lunch but nobody checks. Everybody goes off campus, you'll see freshmen eating McDonalds in their third period (first class after lunch) classes.
