looks nice, could use a little more work on model though...

not everyone is a gun dork, and i for one get really annoyed when i join a deathmatch and have to pick my gun, only to see what appears to me as complete gibberish (ex L85A2). i usually like to know whether it's an assault rifle, sniper or what. maybe in call of duty or another gun-centered game it's acceptable, but the average player in a lego game is not going to know the official name of a gun. some guns, like the ak47 or m16, are common enough to pass by most people.

more on topic, the gun looks nice. i think that some pieces, like the trigger guard (?) and the iron sights are too thin to fit blockland, and the body of the gun looks a bit too square (corners too sharp for my liking). it doesn't really have the modern day gun look, but more on a retro-blockland appearance- although it wasn't what you appear to have been aiming for, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Avtomat Kalashnikova (Avtomat = Russian for Automatic, Kalashnikov = last name of maker. 47 and 74 are years they were manufactured)
I can't believe you didnt loving know that.
I apologize for not being a gun nerd. It would be easier to identify them if they looked different.

I'm done arguing with you, you are fully handicapped when it comes to firearms. If you know nothing about firearms, say nothing about firearms.

It's okay to have names such as AK-47, L85A2, SA80, whatever.
It's also okay to have them named like "Assault Rifle", "Battle Rifle".

I'd rather stick to the common naming, "Assault Rifle", "Bullpup", but this is entirely up to you so just ignore whatever Shell, Treti or others say.

all of what Treti said made me cringe

all of what Treti said made me cringe
No it didn't, stop exaggerating.

i guess whatever treti says is truth now

yes it is bich now obey me!!

Damn, gun nuts in this thread.

This is what I never understood about gun packs.

If half of the guns do the same thing, why have multiple of them?
AK47 AK74 are both automatic, have clips. zzzz

why can't people make unique weapons anymore? It's all the same stuff over and over again.

Your skills have come far, it looks nice

Thanks, and thank you very much for the template!

EDIT: Update!

Aren't they different calibers thought?
74 fires the smaller .556 rounds, or something similar to it.
Not sure.

CLIPS
CLIPS ARGHH

if you used that way of thought then basically you're saying a weapon pack should have only one of each type of gun.
taking the two examples you used, and basing off of their real life attributes, then the AK47 could be a high-damage low-accuracy assault rifle when the AK74 could be a high-accuracy low-damage assault rifle.

you're confusing 5.56 with something much larger because in inches 5.56 is around .223 inches lol
but yeah you're right except it's actually the 5.45 which was supposed to be the Warsaw Pact counterpart to the 5.56
