it isn't matte, look at the hood and rear of the supra, it's too shiny
it looks bad either way, I'm js it's not matte

How hard is it to restore a car like that? I think it'd be fun, but I don't have the money/tools, unfortunately.
its not really hard per say because when it was made they were pretty popular and parts are pretty easy to find for it
but they can still be expensive and frustrating to find in the right condition
but i'm also not building this to concourse spec either lol

toyota supras are the best.
so are the RIDOX supras.

I like carbon fiber black best.  Matte black is okay though.

how much have you spent so far in the alpha already, and do you have a rough estimate of how much total will be spent? I want a car from the mid 80s- early 90s (BMW E30) as my first car, and it would be fun to get one for cheap in rough shape and fix it up, but probably more expensive.

i think i put maybe 15-$30 of my own cash in it which was a fuel filter anything else i've done was with parts that came with the car
it would probably take 3k-5k to get it in "restored" condition prob around 1.5K to 2K to get it legal for road use and in a safe condition

now although i don't have much experience in old BMW's i do know they're pretty reliable and have a pretty big following so it would probably be pretty cheap to find one
and really cars from the 80s-90s are the best cars to have as a first car because they're old enough to be cheap yet new enough to have plenty of aftermarket stuff available

idk, the el camino always seemed a bit ugly to me.

Yep, stopped at the 5th gen. Mine is right here, a 77. I posted a picture of it with the steel grille on the last page. It's a nice car but most people didn't like the front end of this car when it first came out, so they stuck with 3rd gens. These cars are really starting to come around to people though.

Most peoples opinion, was mine at first. On most of these cars, the profile (side view) of these cars is awesome. Specifically the reason why I like this car. We're gonna build up the 350 in this car to keep up with others, it's an SS but its a long story as to why it doesn't have the right grille and stripe.
