you know what they put at the end of the owners manuals in every Ford car?

roadside assistance information

And breaking down cause Ford
HAHAHAHA

Holy stuff bro you're a funny guy

I'll try to get a picture of our '79 F-250 we use as a pack truck at the track.  We have never had any problems out of it and we have ran the hell out of it.  Our pack vehicles usually get neglected as far as maintenance goes so no the oil probably hasn't been changed in God knows how long.  Also I think it leaks coolant and tends to run a little hot,  and isn't exactly treated with care when it's driven.  Also my brother recently quit his job at a Chevrolet dealership and can testify that recent Chevrolet models have been the junkiest and most obtusely designed vehicles on the road.  Practically every vehicle my family has owned has been a Ford and they have never, not once given us problems.

People just love to hop on the "lol ford sux chevy is god" bandwagon mostly I'm guessing because Chevy made the 350 such a great engine.

EDIT:
base line stock crap car that cant top 150
A stock GT Mustang can easily top 160.  Do your research.

mustangs are famous for going around corners

and crashing
Yes, mostly due to the horrid stock rear suspension found in them.  The new Mustang, however, is coming with independent rear suspension stock, and a nearly perfect 50/50 weight distribution iirc.

Are you forgetting that a lot of base line cars can't top 150?  That a lot of base line MUSCLE CARS, ie the Charger and Camaro can't top 150?

And no, 160 is not very fast, but your benchmark of 150 wasn't very hard to beat, so that's why I posted 160.

The new Mustang reveal was one of the largest and most anticipated reveals in American car history, and there is a good reason.  Ford is working wonders with their next gen lineup, for example, the new F-150 is years ahead of the current Silverado and Sierra, and I'd even say the same with the Dodge RAM pickups, even though I love them.

These cars can do these speeds and that's cool and all. But they can only do it in straight line. They're suspension is absolute stuff. You also need a really long straight line to get up to these top speeds so it's not that impressive.

Calm your tits bro, not my fault we didn't get the same experience with Ford as you. Chevy has never let us down, we left a Chevy sitting in one spot for 2 years, worst that happened to it? An animal pulled out the starter wire and it had to be put back in. It started right back up and ran like a charm.

And for the record I've never even bothered to look at a Chevy with a 350 engine.

I don't like the Mustang but I like all of the other fords without the fugly fusion face on them

Older Chevrolets were the stuff but the new ones have kind of taken a stuff.

Sorry I got so mad though.  Just saying Ford has never given us a single problem, not once.

Also If you have ever worked on any Silverado up until I believe the last two body styles, if it was a V8 It was probably a 350.Just found out that 98 was the last year for the 350 in the Silverado/Sierra.

Ford has absolutely given us nothing but problems. The only ford we have at my place is a broken down F150 that is in the front yard. We use it as a ladder to get on the roof. (it works to the point that we can at least put it infront of the trailer)

I've never worked on a Silverado, or any V8 for that matter.

in the past Chevy was better than Ford in terms of reliability (in most cases) but they have done a lot of improving over the last couple decades.

I really don't have knowledge to argue about newer cars because I don't look into them. Most people don't get to get the car they want as their first car, but I did. Most of my specialization is in GM (Chevy) and Mopars like Dodge and Plymouth. The few Fords weve had have all given us trouble but I'd rather have a ford than some import or euro car.

Well I've never worked on anything but V8's lol

Hm, I don't really mess with new vehicles. Mostly cause we can't afford them so I only know them based off the older ones.

My brother recently quit his job at a GM dealer so he knows the ins and outs of pretty much all the GM models from the past couple decades.  He went to college for auto mechanics and won the State if Mississippi SkillsUSA competition in the diesel mechanics category a few years back and came in third in the SkillsUSA National competition.  He is ASE certified and now has his own part time business that he operates out of our shop while he isn't working with my dad's company.  When I say newer GM vehicles are sub-par quality I'm getting my information from a good source but as far as I'd say up to the mid-late nineties Chevrolet - at least in the full size department, like trucks and SUVs - had better quality but from there Ford has kindof been the better choice for quality depending on what you get.

broken down F150
What year model is it?

Any base car that can't top 150 (ignoring the limiter) is not a fast car. The only car I can think of that is slow yet still meets my definition of sports car is the Toyota 86.

Point being, Mustangs are not fast cars. 2014 Mustang GTs are fast cars. Mustang Cobras are fast cars.

I'm not sure what model year it is. I just know that it hardly works even after loads of repairs
