I'm finding a love for 70's-90's Ferraris and Lamborghinis out of nowhere. Help me please.

Now you listen here, son. You don't need help. That's a good thing.

There we go! Now it's working.

Rewriting this because I don't want to double post.

So before my brother passed his '04 Yukon down to me, he attempted to install halogen lights into the car. Now, here's where things get interesting: when he installed the lights, instead of installing them straight into the car like regular bulbs, he put in an amplifier that made the lights run at such a low power that the lights appeared at a dark purple/blue. Now, while this may have been OK with my brother, it made driving at night nearly impossible (I have had so many close calls by now I am convinced that miracles do indeed happen.)

Finally I was done. I bought some new lights, took the amps out, and viola! These things are REALLY BRIGHT now!

They aim a little bit low as of this edit, I'm going to adjust them tomorrow.

Just dont have them so bright that they blind the driver on the other side of the road.

I finally got my radio working but I discovered that the installation kit only goes up the '99 Lesabre (parents got it for me....mine is a '00 and a whole new generation), so now the trim doesn't fit correctly around the kit anymore and I have a big crevice in the dashboard. But the radio works, so now I have a better radio at the expense of a less sleek dashboard so I won't complain.

In terms of the water situation, the carpet in the car is starting to get musty so I'm going to put some carpet freshener down later. The trunk, battery compartment, and the back seat seem to have no lasting problems.

Guys should I get a Subaru Legacy or a Mistubishi Carisma? Same mileage and price on both.

American cars generally have very poor safety ratings, and the MPG they get versus most European and Asian car brands makes me not like them.
True, that's mostly due to regulations:
Quote from: Reddit
The US has got its own incompatible safety standards called the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. In many cases, the FMVSS is actually worse than corresponding ECE standards; the rest of the time, like headlamps, it's just arbitrarily different. Canada has the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, which are basically just the US FMVSS copied and pasted into Canadian law.
It's cheaper to just barely adhere to safety standards than it is to be well over them.

legacy, reliability + awd

But then I can't drift :( Carisma is fwd anyways

Good point with the awd, didn't notice that and it can get forgetall cold and slippery here in the Netherlands with glazed frost (if that's even the correct translation).

get one of those damprid boxes and leave it in your car for awhile
kitty litter works too

I can't find any way to adjust these lights and I can't find anything on the web about it. Anyone had any experience on doing this before?

I don't think damprid will do any good considering the only wet spot is a small maybe 1'x1' area of carpet behind the passenger seat and there isn't anymore water entering the car. Kitty litter though...I never thought about that. I'll probably give that a try.

check under the hood and above the lights
one is going to be in that hole next to the hood latch
the other is in a hole next to the fender

Got it.

Thoughts on the 2016 Camaro?
