fml the jag needs a new water pump gasket

I put an LE wagon roof rack on my base camry today Im slowly moving up the dealer option sheet one thing at a time, these are the things you can do when your car Is 27 years old and irrelevant, you get an LE even if you don't have an LE

oh yes, and you can see the donor camry and my dad's new edsel in the background

The Edsel looks good after sitting outside for 40 years. Was it in a dry climate?

not in a dry climate, I live in Michigan, my dad said it might have also been inside for part of that anyway it only looked that good after powerwashing every sq inch of the car

or they just want to blow a stuff-ton of black smoke out the exhaust.
i know I'm replying to a statement made like a bajillion days ago but

It only blows out black smoke if you have it tuned that way.  There are diesels that make over 800 rwhp with only a few wisps of smoke.  And yes they have huge exhausts.

I'm actively searching for a dash camera now. I just think they're really cool as well as helpful for recording traffic footage. I'd also like one with good focus so that I can see the sky (hurdur storm chasing). The one that I'm currently looking at is this one. I had been looking at this Garmin camera before, but I talked to a guy on another forum about it and he gave me a comparison video (ironically, he was driving around St. Louis in the video) since he has both cameras.

So I flipped through the slideshow here and suddenly I feel very excited even though it's not like I or a ton of other people are going to be importing these cars....

Lotus Carlton/Omega
Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione (YES THOUGH, PLS)
Nissan Figaro (never heard of this)
Mazda Eunos Cosmo
TVR Griffith (yes)
Honda Beat
Venturi Atlantique 260 (PLS)
Maserati Shamal (never heard of this either)

The Atlantique, Delta Evoluzione, and to a lesser extent, the Carlton would make me extremely happy.

I want this so damn bad but the rwd and low height just won't do for west mi winters. if I had my own place with the space to store another vehicle I'd get an old cherokee or outback etc. to go with it for bad weather, but sadly i'm stuck with my family until my income goes up

West Michigan winters? What winters? Have you looked outside?

this whether is an anomaly that i don't expect to become commonplace, it's just el nino and like 2% global warming

I live near GR in a country town and it hasn't snowed seriously in a long time.

places i take my car often throughout the year for whatever reasons:

i live in the red for both of these, not the best representations but w/e

not sure where you sit exactly but snow has always been an issue for us-- school closings, crashes, etc

slightly related: I remember near the end of december many years ago I was outside perfectly comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt
