more old car concepts woo
The Civlization: Beyond Earth car.

So I want to get a job and buy a Mazda Miata NA to learn how to work on/mod cars and such, but I'm worried that my parents are going to think "Illegal street racing" if i bring it up with them. Advice? My mom has some experience working on cars since her grandpa and brother were/are mechanics.

I'd feel completely self conscious driving that car

explain to them that with a NA miata the only thing you could street race would be a person on a mobility scooter

Just ordered some Infinity Reference 6032si's and some sound dampening for my car

ok guys, time for another round of 'which is cooler'

when it comes to an m3/328i, most people i ask irl say they like the e36 more

while most people on the internet seem to prefer the e46

when it comes to the e46 328i i think it's stupid ugly. the m3 is hot: the vents and body kit really help. it has a muscly look to it. imo the e36's are the best looking; they've got a vintage look to them and their curves and lines aren't overthought or unbalanced

dis one bc bloc styling

The e36 looks way better IMO, when they aren't heavily modded. I've always liked them better than the e46 (M3 is very nice though). I remember I was so excited when my dad bought his. If you're looking for an auto e36 M3 you should be able to find a decent one through a private seller for ~$5k at the least, this is usually with 100k-150k miles or so. The manuals are of course more desirable and will drive the price up about $5k-$10k for a really nice one. I looked at them through 10+ car seller sites not very long ago.

E39 is the best looking though

I like the e46 more because of the technical advancements over the e36, but yeah I guess I can agree the e36 design is a bit nicer, but I really like both anyway.

Personally I dont mind if theyre a little riced. My middle one has the little trim on the front and black plasti dipped wheels.
It also has a muffler but I didnt buy that, the last owner put it on.

i can respect the individuality of any custom modification so long as it's not close to anything you'd find in google images when you search 'rice car'
