yeah i'm hoping to stumble across a manual GT (2005+), but they sell quick

nah bro the alternator is totally a turbo
wew them's some unfortunate happenings

I did a small pull against a new Corvette today and won :o

So yesterday when I was coming home from school on the bus, there was a dealership we pass by, and I saw a Chevelle and it was red with a white top. In the back of the lot there was also a mid-90s Corvette that looked pretty good. And the next day we go by that same dealership, both of those cars were gone. It was kinda weird, but whatever.
Also, I'm going into high school rather sooner than I'd like, and I need some help on a car I should choose. Right now, my only choice is to go look for a used car or take my dads 2008 Nissan Xterra. Heres an image of what it looks like:

edit: just realized my dad must have picked a rather popular color since i searched up "2008 nissan xterra off road" and all I got were black ones :P

Those  Xterra's look boss. I wouldn't mind driving one of those.

do you guys think that 160k miles is too much on a v6? i'm looking at some vehicles, but the miles seem a bit high for the engine.

depends on the car
if it was made in the last 10-15 years then nope, that's a fine amount

whats the limit where you would say "whoa no way jose"?

250k i guess-- doesn't matter too much if it's been maintained well and the still seems to run fine. As far as the engine goes, around 150k-200k I'd ask if the head gasket, timing belt, fluid pumps, radiator, & plugs have been replaced, and ask if they've done a compression check for each cylinder. Visually inspecting all the hoses is a good idea; cracked and crusty is obviously bad. If they have full repair/maintenance documentation then that is a huge plus. I personally tend to be more worried about transmission/clutch wear when looking for anything over even 100k lol

what is the car you're looking at?

my Camry is a 4 cyl currently at 292,130 miles and it runs fine aside from using some oil, my parts car Camry is a v6 that is at 178,405 and it has one foot in the grave (it leaks oil from the valve covers and idles really low

mileage is just a number really, its how well the previous owner maintained the car and how little they beat on it. Still try to aim lower, but don't say no to an otherwise solid car just because of the number on the ODO

cars are a lot like people
when they get old and unreliable and cost too much to maintain you get rid of them

or you take them apart down to the skeleton, clean them up, and put them back together with new parts

whats up nerds.
I tought you guys might be intrested in what my grandfather showed up in yesterday

Its a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass

I've put around 500 miles on my car in just a couple of days. Managed to squeeze slightly over 400 miles out of a single tank because it was almost entirely high speed interstate driving.
