get ready for everyone to drive the speed limit around you
the black and white color scheme doesnt help either

Makes it easier for me to pass them in a passing zone. There's also absolutely no irony whatsoever to driving that car either.

I've actually thought about parking in places frequently occupied by police cars trapping cars just to see if I can freak people out and see what they do when they realize it's just some kid in an old police car.

in case anyone is into both cars and partying: http://www.grid.life/

i'll be going to midwest

Not too far from the truth.

But holy crap 5:45 onward through the portion talking about the backseats. That's deep, man.

I'm probably going to be meeting the guy who owns this car. Hoping it turns out well.

I've always wanted to get a Crown Victoria, paint it white, take off the hubcaps, and install push bars just so I look like an undercover cruiser and people will drive safely around me.

Absolutely true.

This one is just a retired cop car, so the spotlight and cop tier features besides lights/siren should still work or be available for reinstallment.

I'd enjoy a spotlight and loudspeaker on my car regardless of what it was. :p
I'd probably use the loudspeaker to curse out drivers though.

how hard is it to change a head gasket? i found a really good deal on a car, but head gasket is blown. can't afford to take to a mechanic so i might have my grandpa (was a mechanic for 40 years) help me. problem is though, i'd be doing almost all the work because his back is bad.

is it worth it? it's a 01 malibu

Trust me you don't want to mess with that

The main problem with head gasket repairs is that it's normally just not the head gasket that goes bad. Generally head gasket failures are a sign of overheating and you're probably going to end up dealing with a warped head/block which would cost more than the car's worth. Not to mention you're probably also have water in oil which will rust up the insides and thin out the oil if not removed early.

it's labor intensive and a pain in the ass, but yes you can replace it. If I were you, I was consult with your grandpa about it first.
I've changed head gaskets but only on race cars. I'm sure it's a lot more difficult on street cars that don't have parts that can easily be changed/removed.
