When I get lodsemone I want to buy and restore one of the original DeLoreans from the Back to the Future movies.
Far chance, but still.
My neighbor has one he's been restoring. He also has one of those Jaguars that Filipe posted. Not sure if it's the same one. There's also a Lamborghini Miura sitting in his driveway that he drives almost daily. Was talking to him one day and he said only around 700 of them were made.

Good grief, Raven. Where do you live that people are that rich?!

My neighbor has about 15 cars at his house. He buys restores and sells cars for a living almost. Most of them were in bad condition when he first got them, so I wouldn't call him rich, but more like a guy with loads of free time.

3rd time was bad. Clocked me at 114 mph in a 55 at 2 in the morning.

More info, please. There is a high probability of this happening to me, and I've found very little information regarding how police act when you're doing double the speed limit. Did you get a huge ticket? License suspended? I get different states have different rules, but still.

Also, I live in SoCal and it's so cold here that my car is complaining about it. My "low tire pressure" light is on because the cold caused my tire PSI to dip below 30, it's off now and I just clocked them at about 33psi, and it's supposed to be 35 when cold. Gonna head out to a gas station and fill em up a bit I guess.

License suspended 3 months with a very unfriendly fine.

Holy crap. That had to suck.

So if your license was suspended did your car get towed? Did the cop allow you to drive home, or did he put you in the back of his cruiser? Did your car get impounded?

Also, how old were you?

I got a hefty ticket on the spot and later received a citation in the mail for an even larger fine. I didn't get my license suspended until the court hearing a few weeks later, so I was able to drive home. Also got 2 points on my license. I only got my license suspended because I was under 18, but nowadays if you do that when you're under 18 you'll get your license suspended until you are officially a legal adult which would've been almost a year without a license for me. I was told my next offense will be jail time, $2500 fine and be counted as a misdemeanor on my record. That was almost 4 years ago so I can probably get off easy now without a suspended license.

Moral of the story: Don't speed no matter how fast of a car you have.

Seriously, how ridiculous is it that if I get caught doing double the speed limit in my car today in the state of New York, I'd have my license suspended for ten days. 'Cause being 18 just instantly makes you that much better of a driver that if you're doing double the speed limit at 18 you're in the clear but any bit before that and stuff brother that's dangerous! No license for you!

Yeah laws are dumb. I was a better driver than my mom and dad like a month after I got my license. Speeding means nothing especially when it's at 2AM.

Oh yeah. I saw this a while ago, and a friend just linked it to me..

I'm now a little proud to have my car AND both my testicles.

Smart people don't get caught by the popos.

Lol, I saw that a while ago. That's just plain stupid, no matter how much you want the car.

I now have a radar detector that can find 4 different types of police scanners from up to 2 miles away now ;)

A radar detector is no replacement for autonomous visual surveillance. If you're driving normally, you should have yourself trained to automatically spot cops. If you're driving fast, you should be actively searching for any reason to slow down-- be it a cop, a dip in the road, an oil slick, a car that could become an obstruction in the near future, etc. I want a radar detector, and I'll probably get one soon, but to me it's no excuse to relax on visual scanning. You've got a lot more things to worry about than a hefty ticket when you're blazing down a road.
