My dad's Mustang is all rusted through and stuff, so he wants to sell it as a roller and get a better body.  He has a totally built-by-hand V8 engine in it.  Acceleration is death-defying.

Swapped my brake pads out today. Took much longer than expected. But, there's good news and bad news:

Bad news:

Apparently, my car never got an alignment and the camber ruined both my rear tires. The inside half is almost entirely bald, while the outside half is pristine. Looks like I'm going to have to buy new tires soon. Furthermore, we were using my car to play music from the radio while we worked, and the battery died. We had to call AAA to come jump it because we fried the cords trying to jump it ourselves.

Good news:

The AAA guy was awesome. He showed up and saw we were working on the car and asked if we liked to race, so I said "yeah, a little." This guy proceeds to tell us about how he's part of an illegal street racing gang that specializes in drifting. Apparently, in a town only a 20 minute drive from my house, there are actually racing meets where the minimum bet per race is $200. The cars that race there can top 200 MPH, and people bet thousands on individual cars for a single race. Yes, I got his number.

Nice window on that garage lol.

that car has lasted us 11 years. it gets good mpg too. it took us across the country about 5 times (WA to ND, ND WA, ND to FL, FL to ND)

yeah I don't like it either. the only thing about it I like more than my (boring!!) car is the stereo and speakers. accelerating in the veloster is so weird, I hate it. it's automatic, but it doesn't feel like it shifts right. idk

the Mini tho. that's a lot of fun to drive

Minis are loving sweet. Apparently one of the priests or whatever in my town owns a bright blue and white one, and it's a manual. I got to drive it into the shop since he brought it in one day and it's loving sweet.

I'm a teenager with a reasonably fast car. C'mon now. What did you expect?

Just got my gas guzzling SUV cleaned today while it was above 32 degrees here in Minnesota.

It's getting sold in like 6 months or so whenever I feel I am ready to get a new car.

haha. you live in a suburb

also is it just me or do those rims look like they're facing the wrong way? like they're clockwise but should be counter-clockwise

They look fine to me. Also, inb4sailorman.
