Gas is normally around $3-$3.75 wish around here in STL.

I don't think it would get that high. it can only carry like 42 gallons and that's with the additional tank
"Tank capacity approx 161 liters, standard tank approx 96 liters additional fuel tank and contains
approximately 65 l"

so gas would have to be like. over $20 a gallon for that to happen
even if it runs on diesel that is still absurdly high

Well the operative words were "sometime before," I didn't think they'd stop at $999.99 on the dot.

I paid $4.40 a gallon (alright $4.3999 if you wanna get technical) last night. Bubbagum was literally like "wtf, why is gas so expensive here?!"

Holy stuff I feel bad for you. I filled up for $3.09/g the day before yesterday lol

Pump and runs can happen? All pumps here require you insert payment details before you start pumping. Like, you either swipe your card first or pay for cash inside first, then start pumping.

I'm really not sure, but I've been to stations where payment is afterwards.

E85 is just $2.89 here in Illinois. Cheapest I've seen in a while.

why would they stop lower than that? if they did I don't think it would be about overflow. but I also dunno what else it could be
if they capped it at all the only other reason I could imagine for doing that is preventing one customer from getting too much or something, like when store offers are limited to one per customer or stuff like that

They can just make multiple purchases.

What the forget? Is gas that cheap everywhere outside of California?

Back on this, does your car take premium?

It does, but premium is only like ~$0.20/gal more expensive than regular here anyway. I don't remember the exact price, but it was probably like $4.18 or something.

Guess so. I don't feel like complaining about gas prices anymore.

Missouri octane gas prices are always linked. Regular is always cheapest, plus is always $0.15 more, and premium is always $0.15 on that. Gas got down to $2.79 for regular several months ago.

I remember around the time of the 2008 elections, gas was flowing freely at $1.39/gallon after being $3.99 a year or so before.

too bad E85 is stuff.

Not as volatile as gasoline and not friendly to non flexfuel systems.

My van has flex fuel but e85 is not worth it unless it is more than 30% cheaper than regular unleaded.

not to mention you make less power when using E85.

You're literally better off getting sons 150 proof moonshine and using it instead.

The only time I ever worry about getting premium petrola is when I fill up my bike. If I'm filling up my car I could care less. I love my car, but it's not a performance car and somewhat a piece of stuff.
