I did indeed dent the front fender of the mondeo and I was hoping to repair it myself, but I'm scared of the heat lifting the paint off, the dent is slightly less severe looking than the one in this video

that should work fine

you could also heat it from the back of the fender if there's room, less chance of messing up the visible paint that way

nah I tried taking the fender off and it wouldn't budge, had the bolts off and everything

That is the most ignorant thing I have ever read, my god.

I don't know if this is sold outside of the US, but I've used it about 3 times to pull dents out of plastic bumpers and a small dent in sheet metal. It doesn't require any panel heating or warping and I've been able to make a bumper basically look perfect without much trouble. It also comes with a pick tool so you can smooth out wrinkles if you need to. Just don't use it for any large sheet metal dents because it's loving horrible at that, lol

neat, I'll look for one that's sold in the UK. although I probably gotta say, it's at a very weird angle and the dent isn't on a flat piece of sheet metal, the dent starts where the spacing/curve for the tire ends which is probably gonna make the job 10x more difficult

This one seems to have better reviews, btw: http://amzn.to/2tDUv1N

I've gotten it on some weird angles, you may have to put something underneath the foam pads to make it reach though. The rod that you glue to the car is quite a bit longer than the curve on the tool so you can make it go down quite a bit

Am selling my car and using a 50cc bike instead because it was costing me about €220 a month to drive less than 900km forget the Netherlands.
