Author Topic: Apparently I got a FBI child research warning  (Read 6920 times)

Or you can just remove the virus?
The FBI ransomware locks down your entire computer and it puts itself into fullscreen

It also disables task manager and uses some code/flash thing that turns on your webcam and it shows you and it says something like "Identity of suspect" or something like that.

Decep says it locks down your computer

Boot in safe mode

Start in Safe Mode with Command Prompt
C:\WINDOWS> explorer
Install avast! or Malwarebytes downloaded by another computer
Run scan
????
Profit

I got one of those little pop-up pocket sized bundles of cancer masquerading as the FBI for some stuff about 'copyright'

Windows Task Manager dropped a train on 'em because I somehow managed to open it

It does lock down your computer...
Evidence:

my sister got this once. She had to pay 200 bucks anyways to get it fixed at a computer shop.

I got this too
From personal experience, its ransomware that attempts to look legitimate from the FBI
To remove it, you usually pay a fine to get rid of it.
It also prevents you from using Safe Mode, so you need to take it to a Tech shop to repair it

Boot in safe mode
that doesn't even work

Literally the moment your computer even starts up it shows itself and you're literally forgeted unless you can find ways to bypass it.

I remember there was some guy on youtube that installed these purposely on virtual machine and showed you ways to get around the famous ones.

Ah, here we go;

C:\WINDOWS> explorer
Install avast! or Malwarebytes downloaded by another computer
Run scan

you can't even access command prompt, sorry. Like I said, this ransomware goes loving fullscreen on you, and you can't click out of it or anything.

well, I guess some ransomwares are different than others.

Except starting in Safe Mode with Command Prompt works. My uncle had this exact same virus on his laptop. The method I just listed works.

I just explained it to you on steam.
You said they were different

here's another famous one.

all the non computer savvy people here thinking that there even exist, viruses that can't be stopped and cleaned off Lol.

You said they were different
There are different kinds, yes, but you can get around them by booting in safe mode.

Some of them forget you over before you can even get the chance to boot into safe mode, so yeah.
