My dad tried to join the Coast Guard, but they wouldn't let him because he was missing a kidney. It's kinda stupid actually, he's just like any other guy, two kidneys or not.

well jobs are only as suck as you are getting paid to do it.
if they make good cash to not have to fight in war. and goof off all day forever. seems like a perfect job.

your standarda active combat soldier gets paid jack stuff. sleeps in the dirt. and must reapply for a job after 4 years.
but hey. its exciting I guess

Pay rates are the same with bonuses on deployments.

An E-4 standing at the gate will earn the same as E-4 soldier overseas.
