Author Topic: Doctor Who Megathread -- New Season in July?  (Read 13316 times)

I always did like Fezes, but Dr. Who made it so I can't wear it without people thinking it's a reference or some jazz ;/
This is what is wrong with people nowadays, everything has to be a reference.

Cake? Reference.
Peanut Butter? gamer Reference.
Bowties? Reference.
Fishsticks and Custard? Reference.
Why?

i saw a quote from moffat (it was official and stuff because screenies) where he apparently said something about the regenerations not really mattering
1: it's more of a cultural limitation
2: Hurt doctor is not actually doctor. we count 11 regenerations as the timelord that frequently goes as the doctor, went as the doctor.

basically, the doctor has lived more than 11 regenerations, he just wasn't going as "the doctor" during those times. namely, the Hurt doctor.
wrote this before actually watching the thing lol

yeah i dunno.

Well the combination of fish sticks and custard would be must likely a Doctor Who reference.

I think the Christmas special will be aired on the 25th of december

doctor has 13 regenerations, the 2 others are war doctor and tennant 2 when he got shot by a dalek and used his regeneration power on his jar hand

Doesn't the Doctor have a limited amount of regeneration energy?

Woah, the Christmas special was AWESOME.
It explained everything perfectly.
I cried when handles died, though.
Also, that was one firey (reset?) from old 12 to younger 12.
I guess it made up for the lack of action in the tease that is the regeneration from young twelve to the 1st (??) Doctor.
Edit: Did anyone get the 4th doctor reference? At the end of the 50th, {the fourth doctor tapped his nose while saying "who knows".} I'm not sure at what point in the episode, but the oldest version of the 12th doctor did this, I can't remember what he was saying, though.
Also it turns out that only the Matt Smith doctor remembers the events of the 50th anniversary, because he recalled on things that he did/learned in that special.
