Forum Petition: Move Megathreads/Generic Forum Games

I've noticed for a while now that there has been a severe lack of new threads. Seriously, most people post in these stupid threads that never go away (you ____ you _____, post real life pictures of yourself, etc.) It's takes up space of pages and result in actual good threads getting pushed back.

There's currently about 32% of the first 2 pages that are popular "megathreads". That's way too much space being taken up. They overrun good topics that can lead to a good discussion, instead of these stupid "____ the above user" threads.

So overall, I think we need something to limit this, such as a board for having topics about broad subjects. Plus, games should be posted in Community Projects anyways.

Anyone support?

megathreads are what make me even visit off topic/games

and when I go to visit them I find new topics, so what's the problem

I just think that there should be a board for broad topics. It's annoying seeing "Car thread" or "Cuteness thread". Stupid. Perhaps if you made that a little more specific, then it would be a better topic.

Most forum games are in off-topic although a bunch are in Community Projects, even though its no a project, its a forum game, I think there should be a child-board called "Forum Games" and "Mega-topics" in Off-Topic, that will make things better imo

I think if you're invested in a topic you should bump it, don't have any shame. Although sometimes I forget to do so myself ;-;

I do not agree because all the good stuff in Community Projects would be buried with stuff like "What does the above user smell like" threads. Also megathreads are what make off-topic what it is because it reduces multiple threads on the same thing. You are better off with a forum made just for forum dedicated to forum games.

I'd be cool with mega threads being banned as well.

they are very unhelpful in reality. yet people still attack new topics for being made.

and ban forum games as well. they are not even really games.
