I don't have sympathy for the lady, she was mental enough to do it with her baby in the car. I don't think anyone knew her intentions, but any person who drives like a maniac and tries to ram the White House security barriers has criminal intentions. I think the lady was a government worker and was frustrated that she couldn't work and make money. It was a strange incident.

the police car crashed in the chase (hit bollard according to the article), and if you look at where the car was stopped it just hit like a small metal post, not some concrete wall.

in fact you can watch the footage. it clearly shows her being hassled by the security at the gate or whatever. she clearly wanted in, but she did NOT ram anything Lol. she was parked and being refused.
then she backed up all fast to drive away.
no damage to the car or gate/barricade
