Because you can't directly access those functions through torquescript. And there aren't many people who would go as far as to do anything further than torquescript.

You'd have to embed all the functionality into the engine. That's why Badspot is not taking it too seriously. It's simply not worth the effort to prevent.

this is why it should be dumb and simple achievements

like "place a brick" or "start freebuild" or any of these things

Making an FOV slider for Blockland seems pretty easy considering there's already a command adjusting your FOV, I would do it, but I don't know Torque, only Java.

Someone could easily make a mod to add one. This isn't Zero Punctuation we're talking about here. All you need to do is type setfov(number); into the console to set it.

Where you can set X, Y, Z of the block and add it into your block inventory.
It's kinda frustrating when you need a brick of a certain dimension, but you don't have it.
