Author Topic: Looking For Iban's CRP  (Read 5672 times)

I'm looking for the most current version of Iban's City RPG. Does anyone have it?
(Also sorry if this is in the wrong section.)

Should be in Requests.
IBAN'S CRP is filled with backdoor Files and causing I ban and friends of him to be a Admin, or host admin
On your server

not recommended.

It's not hard to modify the file and fix it yourself.

I PM'd it to you. It contains backdoors added by Iban, so it will require some editing.

iirc the original version of CityRPG didn't have backdoors; those were added in when moppy & co. added drugs.

nope

If you search for the file on google right, it's the first result lol.

The backdoors on the mod actually do not work: Badspot coded the function names into Blockland and made them so they could not be overwritten by the mod. I think you can grab it from the recent Aoki drama thread. The idiot who coded it got his key deactivated so it should be safe regardless.

LOL
It became that big of a problem that Badspot took the time to hardcode those functions in?

He stopped the issue from spreading in the same way he invalidates key-specific exploits by revoking keys.

It took that long to do that?
No that's not what I'm implying, and it probably only took 1-2 minutes to code it.  I'm just saying that I thought it was curious to see that Badspot wrote to the code specifically to patch those abusive CityRPG backdoor commands.  I've never seen him do this before for something like this, only for key and game hacking exploits.

It's not really far from the crap-on system.

Yeah, and if it were me in Badspot's position when he overwrote those functions I would've just CRC'd CityRPG.
