As for the people who said it is impossible to guess, it is a FREE contest where you have a 100k-1 shot at winning something for free with no risk and almost no time involved.  I was going to do this contest weekly and I am sure over time someone would eventually get it, but it obviously isn't worth the harassment.  Enjoy more interesting and rewarding threads about My Little Pony instead.

as much as people harassing you over pms is wrong, you probably should have been a little more specific in telling us the rules of the game. when you said the exact number, a whole lot of people immediately assumed it was whoever was closest, which was not the case and would have been avoided if you had mentioned it in the op.

Why would he give a $50 giftcard to "whoever is closest". Thats just handicap. A number between $.01 - 500 with the correct answer being 398. So what if the closest number was 467?
