Google chrome spelling correction is not working.

So when ever you misspell a word it gets a red underline you right click the word and you get suggestions for what it could be.
It still does that but when I click the suggested word it doesn't change the word to the suggested one.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
And no I won't switch web browser

Are you sure it's just you're not clicking it? I have a mouse that likes to disconnect when it's low battery but I can still move the cursor but it won't click.

It gives suggestions it's just they don't work.

Typically if you right-click the text box, spell check is a checkbox.
