why would they change that? i like disks better.
Probably so you can save your code to Origin, so if you ever lose your disk you don't have to buy a new one.

Which is why I like all digital, because I suck with disks.

so what happens if your playstation hdd forgets up and you have tons of digital downloads?

then you're stuff out of luck? you get a new hdd and transfer all the licenses, at least that's how it works with an xbox. they're tied to your account.

so what happens if your playstation hdd forgets up and you have tons of digital downloads?

Then you get it fixed, log onto your account and download them again. You know, what people who have computers do when their HDD dies

maybe i like the older times idk. i never liked the idea of digital download.

i think you just have a natural aversion to thinking

Well no stuff you hate digital downloads, you somehow live in 2013 without Internet.
Digital downloads are hilariously convenient and are a biiiit easier to keep together than a bunch of disks.

The last time I used a disk was to install RCT1, but it didn't work on Win7 so I bought a digital download off GOG.com instead

I think lately they made the Sims 3 (and all their PC EA games) rely on Origin more.

It's EA, of course they're going to make you install a constant link to their game store on your computer to play a game you already paid for.
