Author Topic: Is this a good combo for a gaming build?  (Read 2108 times)

What the forget is Burbank?

Really?
I don't live in the country I know what it is.

oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh California

I despise of my inner self.

My PC was only $568 and it can run basically anything I throw at it.

What the forget is Burbank?

It's only, like, where all the major tv studios are located!
And it's where I live.
The "Fry's Electronics" that is supposedly the largest (and coolest) is down the street from my house. It's huge, and it has a giant Kraken inside it!

If you're going to criticize people for their budgets, why don't you criticize yourself for being an idiot and hurting someone else?

lol

why did you censor what he said
It's probably netnanny being a jig.

first of all, going cheap won't get you stuff. you need about 600 - 800 for a decent build.
you must be joking.

I hate all you starfishs misleadingly convincing people that they can't get a good computer for a low budget. When I get computers, they come straight from Fry's Electronics and are usually under 400 dollars. The computers I get there that are under 400 dollars and can play Planetside 2 on the highest graphical settings, getting 60 fps. If you're going to criticize people for their budgets, why don't you criticize yourself for being an idiot and hurting someone else?
ye guis dont hurt babycaiks~!!

What are the parts in that thing

>A4
>APU Graphics
>Gaming

You're going to have to try a little harder.
Edit: If you want any performance at all, spend money. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1M76N

Georges, get in here and set these folks straight.

AMD FX-4130 CPU
Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition GPU
4 Gigs of Ram
320GB 7200 RPM HD
A not-ugly case (unlike most budget cases).
ASUS M5A78-LX Plus motherboard.
Corsair CX-430.

This computer can run Blockland on medium to max settings, depending on brickcount. For the most part, I run high to max at a playable 40-45 fps. Keep in mind I'm running Linux, so Blockland isn't even running native.

All this for just ~$310... With maybe $400, you could get a much better computer.

Also guys, don't just tell him to spend more money. I had this same issue in the computer thread when I needed help, it's quite unhelpful to just tell him to spend more many that he probably doesn't have, it's also very annoying. Instead, give him the best build he can get for the money. And I know he can't nessesarily get a good one, just give him the best he can get.
