hey how about an idea, when you have detention why not do it all there? some schools don't let you do it in detention and the teacher says "THAT'S FOR HOME NOT SCHOOL"
At my school, sometimes the dean who assigned you detention would check in on the detention room to make sure you were there, and you were expected to be doing homework
Don't have any homework to do? Be prepared to be bitched at.
My 6th math class had the teacher switched midway through, I think the first one took maternity leave when the first quarter ended. When the next quarter started, the new teacher told the class "You're homework in this class isn't graded"
So of course I don't do it because I don't need the practice; This level of math was insanely easy for me and I was acing the tests
By midquarter I was failing the class because of no homework turned in
That today is a late start which means that I have to show up two hours later but I forgot and have to wait in the freezing wind for two hours while I wait for class to start.
Damn. In my school the main entrance was opened very early and you could get in and wait there, but in middle school the doors leading to the hallways were locked so you couldn't get anywhere other than the offices, in high school I know they locked the doors to the class rooms, but I never got there early enough to see what else they did.
holy hell you're lucky, mine is 20 mins
My lunch break is however long I have between classes. Sometimes it's two hours, sometimes it's ten minutes.
Of course most of the teachers and very lenient about being late and don't care if you eat it class, so you can just run to some fast food place and come back with your food.
