Author Topic: Don't You Worry Child - Blockland Edition  (Read 3427 times)

I had a lot of fun doing the last one, and I decided to remake another song using only Blockland sounds. This time I chose to do "Don't You Worry Child" by Swedish House Mafia, one of my favourite songs.

This one definitely took a lot more effort, let me know what you think!

Good job, Zapk I love it :)

Nice, but not as good as your other one.

I like this one better, personally.

ehh

i actually really love "hey jude", but i dont like "dont you worry child" at all.

hey jude has quite a fun and playful side to it that sounds enjoyable, and is quite sharp on blockland. however, dont you worry child is a bit sloppy on the blockland sounds.

Did you only listen to the intro of the song or something?

i have a feeling that blocko remakes are becoming a thing

I'm a swede and I disapprove of this.

so off-key lol, you gotta make the sound pitches match the actual song. generally though, its pretty good.

Pitch on both is a big problem ;-;
If that was fixed, I'd love them a bunch! But it's just way too off man... :c

To be honest: that was quite horrible. The pitch is way off, and it is almost painful to listen to at times. You can do better than this!

It's only the first 40 seconds that don't sound like the chorus - it's meant to be like that.

Yes, the pitch is not spot on, but you can't tell me you couldn't tell what song it was.  That is way impressive considering he only used noise tones from a lego building game.

I loved it.  I smiled the whole time through, I felt very entertained.

I believe the sounds were pitch-shifted, so he had all notes at his disposal. And he managed to pick all the wrong ones...

Go ahead and do Hotel California. Thanks.
