I am going away to SC tomorrow and I need to bring my personal laptop for school work, and also a PS3 for night-time gaming. I was wondering if the X-Ray machines in the airports would damage the hardware/software of both my PS3 and my laptop. I'm taking them on the plane in my carry-on backpack.

Don't see why it would, people take their electronics through there all the time.

I've traveled with our laptop multiple times

unless they're made of living tissue, no .. and even then it would be minute

I have an living computer. It's kidney failed yesterday so I had to replace that... not fun.

X-rays are a certain frequency of light, so it's highly unlikely they'd damage an electronic device.

It was a good airplane ride definatly prefer it over 14 hour car drive.

Pictures soon.
