Sennheiser HD25-1 II with Velour pads. Spent $160, worth $180 - $200.
not much for looks but they are damn near indestructible, and if you do manage to break a part of it you can just replace the one part that you need.

also, they're the same headphones that quite a few sports news anchors use because they have such good sound isolation

also they have a pretty flat frequency response

I just got some PortaPros so I can look like (quote) "Marty McFly and an astronaut at the same time."



My dad has these, they sound really damn good. Plus this is a pretty damn renowned model among the headphone industry.

paid $60 for some Audio-Technica m30's which sound great compared to my old skullcandies

my brother has those, considering that they're ten bucks or lower, they can take quite a bit of abuse and they don't sound too bad.

my m30s were awesome for me when I had them, and I must say they do compare to some more expensive products.
