Author Topic: "Server Cannot Verify Your Blockland ID"  (Read 3453 times)

I have entered my key, restarted Blockland, and to have the console said auth was successful, but it won't let me RTB and join any servers, with that error.

you might've been revoked for a unknown reason.

Maybe your account was used by a Fool Or something?
Do a computer scan, That's my only idea.

No, if your key is revoked then authentication will fail on the main menu.  It won't ever say "Welcome, <your name>"

The cause of this is most likely that your UDP and TCP traffic are being routed differently.  So you end up authenticating with one IP address, then connecting to servers with a different IP address.  Common causes of this include using a proxy or other anonymization tactic, or connecting via satellite or cellular network.

This will also happen if someone else uses your key or if you start another instance of Blockland and change your name.  Looking at the master server, this doesn't seem to be the case for you.

Could it be the reason I am using Hotel wifi?

Yeah, probably is. Thanks Badspot. The guy in customer support said I needed my IP to be dynamic in order to use wifi, so I did that. SC has some trippy hotel internet, I guess.

Could this be corrected? I want to play blockland.

Hotel could be using a program to keep you anonymous.
