I'm going to make avatars out of this but I figured it's time I learned how to make it transparent
So, how? I'm using Gimp, on Mac.




Use the wand tool
Does GIMP have a wand tool cause I use Paint.net to make my avatar's trans.

And yeah, you should either use the wand, or the freeform selection tool (instead of drawing it, you can click to make points with the tool).

That'd be nice!

First you have to right click the layer you want in the side bar and select "add Alpha Layer" and then break out the wand.

Otherwise you'll get a white background.
