i can feel nostalgic about not eating breakfast this morning, but as i'm eating lunch can i feel sentimental back in the days of not eating breakfast and yearn for further days of not eating breakfast at home

when I was much younger I didn't understand problems enough to be bothered by them
I had no reason to care that my parents were divorced, I didn't see any reason that my dad not having much money was bad, nobody in school really made fun of each other, I couldn't be distressed about the lack of rights for people because I didn't even know about them
etc
