So I tried to make something cute.

Rate x/10, criticism is welcome. I'm looking to improve. I took some posters' advice, and I made this end result. Steam message me (I can't PM) if you want the original screenshots.

Also, pardon the FPS thing at the top corner. I forgot to remove the overlay. Hopefully it isn't detrimental to the image.

By the way, it's 341 bricks.

I'm guessing that means i need to find a way to conserve bricks?

I really like the fences being used on the porch ceiling. I also really like the large windows and colourscheme. I think it would look a lot better if you outlined the main house (out of bricks) with a darker colour. The checkered floor is neat.
The roof is ugly, I get that you are trying to stylize it in an original way but it just looks bad. I also think the holes in the bricks on the front is ugly. Just finish the brick walls.

I think you should get those holes in your foundation checked sir, you might have a pest problem, or worse, a cracked foundation.
I can give you a free quote if you want? :D

Anyway, I like the color, the fences, and the windows. The height change on the stairs could use a bit of adjustment. Roof isn't too bad albeit it could be done better. It's cute but I think more bricks, shrubs, bushes, idk around the base of the house might make it look, nicer?

currently improving.

its current state:

thanks for the advice, zealot.

It's cute, simple, and the brickwork is nice, but the roof is pretty nasty imo. it looks like it's just been sat ontop of the house

try incorporating it into the build. make some trims, have it meld into the walls of the house. do you understand what im saying? Like brickitect's roofing for example. It extends from the walls somewhat and kinda sits down on the walls.

I see what you're saying, I'll try that out. Thanks.

How's this, Dez?

Looks pretty great to me. What is the sky that you used for the first picture?
