Author Topic: Any Laptops out there that can support some decent gaming?  (Read 1624 times)

An Alienware may do the trick for you, but they are really pricey.
They are actually pretty stuff. I've had real life experience with an Alienware laptop. It does not last long, i'll tell you that.

anyways, didnt tell us the most important - how much are you willing to spend?

Lenovo G780 if you've got 900 bucks to spare. Totally worth it and with an i7 processor you can run minecraft, blockland, and an infinite number of chrome tabs at once without any lag

well either shes really stubborn/not the smartest or your family is pretty rich and spending an extra 500 bucks isnt a problem

You could get the perfect up-to-date desktop with that.

This is kinda painful to see.

all i really remember about the specifics is that he got 8gb of RAM and a hybrid hdd-sdd for memory storage or something
but i do know that he also ordered a big cooling fan thing that plugs into it because that laptop will loving burn your skin off
fangbook more like cigarettebook lmao (jk it actually looks nice)

the ideapad Y series has some good gaming laptops for less than $1k if you're in that price range.

Bet that thing gets a sweet 30 minutes of battery time.

tell your mom that she's stupid and will need to raise your budget by 500 if you really need a laptop.

And don't do it with an asskissy kiddy voice, that doesn't work.

Well 1 on 1 here, laptops cost way more than desktops since the technology is more little.

Something decent would be around ~$1,000.

You can get a waaaay better desktop for $1000

My laptop runs every game I have ever tried at high FPS on high or mid settings.

ASUS is my preferred brand for laptops.

It'll cost you near $1000 for a decent one though.

lol at the people insisting on getting a desktop

I think he's well aware of the advantages of getting one, but you people are just mindlessly demanding him to get one and not even giving two minutes to consider that his mom remains unconvinced.

Besides, he already stated his $1.3k budget, as to which Blockzilla and Toke agreed that a decent one would cost around $1k.

Why not just give him options instead of insisting he get a desktop?
