A recommendation is to practice each week and start out with making basic structers and frequenting freebuilds helps a lot.

you could try using references to build with.

- Build something like you usually do.
- Improve something to make it look better.
- Do the above step multiple times until you get something better than you usually build.

This is what I do. You can also post in Gallery and get constructive criticism there.

Take pictures of good builds you see and use their designs mixed in with your own style.

Also, build a lot. Most people that say they suck at building are those who don't build at all or hardly ever. The more you build, the better you will get.

Don't ever feel that you need to build something or else it becomes boring. Try building something you want to build or that you plan on using in the future.

i suck at building but i think i understand it, just without the skill
building is a skill like anything else; you improvise along the way and find out how to do things with your own skill and familiarity.

How I learned to build better was:


-Look at builds and try to replicate them. That may help you build better

-Think of random ideas. When I do that, the build comes out nice. But the idea needs to be a little complex.

-Try to look up some tutorials as Alex Dude stated.

-Try going to Freebuilds and building houses or whatever. If it does not look good, clear it and think of better ways to insert the "Pazzaz" into the build.
