why do people get banned for posting addons?

I've seen people getting banned for posting links for some addons and they get banned? Ex. Ibans city rpg...

What is the reason?

I just dont want to get my acc banned ;-;

I haven't seen anyone banned for add-ons. Only if they have Back door scripts in them that let them become admin.

I don't know where the rumor that you get banned if you post Iban's CityRPG started.
It has been posted before.


Though Broken/Exploitable/Backdoored Add-Ons can range from getting removed to getting you deactivated.

Here's how:
Release eval injections
release exploits
release hacks
release a failed add-on twice
release a failed add-on
release an add-on for a banned user
release eval
release add-on so poor in quality that it makes badspot cringe
release add-on so poor in quality that furling cringes

there are a few more, but I think I summed it up

Yes, people do get banned for uploading add-ons sometimes, but only if it applies to something on MARBLE MAN's list.

Unfortunately, no.  Badspot fails any add-on that's a City RPG.
Don't ask why, because I really don't know.  But he obviously has his reasons.
