What it is:

Another DS, but instead of being 3d, it's an unclosable system that looks like a door wedge, and it's in 2d. You have to pay around 200 dollars for it anyways, when you could just disable 3d in parental controls on the 3ds.

It's $130.
Of course, but the 3DS costs extra.
The original Gameboy doesn't close, the PSP doesn't close, and the Vita doesn't either. Were they terrible for their time? Not at all.

If you don't have a 3DS yet, and you don't even want to USE the 3D feature, then get the 2DS since it costs less.
