I want to put the color of the RGB light in my paintcan. Does anyone know how to do it.

You can't have a paint spawn lights unless you edit a lot of stuff. If you mean a paintcan which causes bricks to glow colours, use Rainbow FX.

No, I did in someones server and it was cool he said he edit the color file.

What actually happened when you painted the brick? Did the bricks start glowing different colours on a timer or was it just Red, Blue or Green extra paints?

they flash as one of the colors of the lights it was on E_net's server i think

He Means the RGB effect... in the dark if theres a pure green colour for example with a green light
with a red and blue pures with it... and the RGB light is on green it will only show green...
then the light changes to blue showing the pure blue colour light paint only...
making a anamation effect. he wants to know how to make pure red,blue & green...
he also wants to know how to make cyan,maneta & a yellowish colour...
so that it can contrast 2 lights... he already has white for 3 and black for 0.
I've been looking for a topic which has where it says where the paint colours are
i know how to make the paints but i just dont know what folder to put it in :(

Add to the end of your ColorSet.txt file. It'll only work if you have a standard color set or possibly the Tool Paints edited file.

Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Black, White.

Build a black wall of 1x1 bricks. Build a brick a short distance away. Put an RGB Light on it. Paint the wall with the above colors.
Red = Red
Yellow = Red, Green
Green = Green
Cyan = Green, Blue
Blue = Blue
Magenta = Red, Blue
Black = None
White = All three

As the light in the list above comes on the RGB brick, bricks of those colors will "glow" and be visible in the animation.
