Author Topic: 1 Fondin Tower build [IMAGE HEAVY]  (Read 2297 times)

Just some tower I decided to make originally to commemorate Blockland being Greenlit which I then decided to take it an extra step. The original tower (the darker one due to the color sets getting messed up) is also shown. The new tower is 305 studs/feet/whatever tall. The first one took ~2 hours to make, while the new tower took ~10 hours to build in total over time (the original was built on 8/28/13, the new one finally got finished today).

The old build from the greenlit server.

Part of the new build.

The lower portion of the build.

Lower part of both builds.

The old build again.

Inside the main room with a "helipad". (The doors can open to let the helicopter out.)

The main room from the outside.

The upper portion of the new build.

Both builds from a distance.

Both builds again this time looking upward.

The build just yesterday night, not too long from completion.

Feel free for to give constructive criticism to help in the event I build another tower like this.

Just a note: It might be good to ignore the emitters, since I'll probably try to cut that down a bit next time.

EDIT: Added a new image on a thing I'm working on. I'll being making another spaceship tower which will be 2x wider and maybe up to 500 feet/studs tall (Goal would be 555 feet/studs tall to match the height of the real Washington Monument.)

Looks interesting and abstract

this is the weirdest (in a good way) build i have seen in a while

I agree with both above posts. This is a really fun and creative way to use ramps, emitters, etc. Im enjoying looking at the lighter gray one more and more because I see more and more. Cool job!

get that helicopter out and put the other stuff in space
that's what it actually is: a spaceship

It's spectacular, I could see this fitting well in somewhere like Singapore or Hong Kong.

this is so badly random that it's amazing
I love it

Looks super whacky and unorganized and I love it.

its loving huge

if you have that much determination to do this, then you deserve a medal

For some reason this reminds me of Dr. Seuss, Phines and Ferb, and Science fiction all at the same time

So random..

.. And cool c:

What? This obviously isn't a tower - look how thin it is, that can't withstand gravity. This contraption can only exist in space...

Oh my... Looks awesome! Must've taken you a hell of a long time to make! Woah!
