I am in the 10th grade currently, and thinking hardly about where I want to attend, and I know that I definitely don't want to go to a community college or a public college however it's hard to find excellent universities with every specific course you would want to partake in. I am thinking about Brandeis, as they have certain courses which I'd be interested in partaking in. I've also considered a few other universities to go to after I finish high school and get my diploma, but I am not focusing on ivy-league schools, a lot of them don't offer the best educations. It's really a matter of how you use your education, and a matter of motivation and wanting to actually learn. In reality, any sort of education could do us good.

What universities do you want to apply to and/or get into?

i want to go to college because like, my parents expect me too, but i dont want to go for a sport. i would want to go to one that has something to do with law enforcment because i want to be a cop. im also considering joining the marines

I'm in collage right now.
I think there's a lot of us on here.

My parents want me to go, but it isn't much of an expectation; my parents only want me to be happy and for me attending and getting a solid educational background makes me happy. You should totally go for it! Law enforcement is great if you are able to cope with it emotionally, I think you'd be great with the marines too since you have a very strong personality from what I've seen. If you are a sports player too, it could help you with getting full-scholarships.

Farmingdale Aviation.
Spartan School of Aeronautics.
Embry Riddly (Which I hope happens but probably not)
Maybe Dowling, Id have to see how it is in 3 years.

for personal reasons I don't think I'm going to go to college without a full ride or other serious scholarship
at least, not right out of high school
collage
why do you keep making this mistake? I mean there's no way you aren't seeing everyone else spelling it right, and it's not like it's spelled "collage" in other countries

Maybe subconciously I just really want to piss you off.

Oh, it's a given choice with everyone. Night Fox, it's best to be more optimistic with college admissions. You're an extremely smart guy, who I think is very determined and willing to do things. If you really want to do something, you can. Anything is possible with the human mind, I realized this a few months ago.

In Chicago? I heard it's one of the most prestigious public universities in the country, and they have fantastic sports.

Arizona State University for an architectural studies diploma

well I'm not saying I doubt my ability to get accepted somewhere
for personal reasons, like I said (but not so personal I wouldn't tell you on steam if you actually wanted to know), I'm just not going to go to any of them unless they made it very worth it for me. I'd probably only consider a full ride worth it tbh

that's the one

Well yesterday I talked to the Air Force recruiter who will get in touch with me in a month or so. Going to try and get my medical records to pass prescreening then Ill find out if I pass MEPS in a bit.

Other than that my only other plans are to attend the local community college for Civil Engineering then transfer to UMASS.

TL;DR

Join the Air Force or go to college for Civil Engineering

Any college can be worth attending though, it's solely just a matter of what career you want to pursue.
