Is there a way to have 1 song, but on 2 different albums on iTunes? For instance, I want a song to be on two separate albums, without having two different mp3s. Sort of like how you can have "x playlist" with some songs and have another playlist with some of the same songs, but like they're albums rather than playlists.

delete the second song
easy peasy

copy paste

have copy in other album

Tried, it didn't work

Not like that :c

Say I have two albums, "D.R.U.G.S." and "BetterOffDead". I want to take a song from "D.R.U.G.S." and add it to "BetterOffDead" as well, but only have one mp3 (so there won't be doubles like this). I'm doing this because when I listen to one album, I want to have x song on that album, but still be able to go to it's original album and the song be there as well.

Think of it like making two playlists with the same songs, but as albums.

hmm
I don't know of any way to do that, sorry D:

Multiple entries for album in the ID3 tags?

How would I go about doing this? Like how would I separate the two album names? Semi-colon didn't work, it just made an album named "BetterOffDead; D.R.U.G.S." in iTunes

I guess that only works for contributing artists.
