being tongue-in-cheek is very hard over the internet i've learned
not sure where i might have said we wouldn't be taking the project seriously when we're working on it; this is currently, and will continue, to slowly be built upon and allow everyone who helps to take part to get the experience of working together in a group as well as producing something that's fun.

i guess yes, i should expect that people with that kind of experience already will want a different incentive to providing something.

no on my end

i cannot seriously contribute to this because i am currently doing other things and i dont expect you to be able to pay me but i expected both of us to be aware of this and thus you would take me asking 'will you pay me' as a joke instead of a serious question as to if you could actually pay me

the punchline is i am busy. that is the punchline.

i'm a pixel artist but mainly a program

what are you making this in, i can probably apply as a coder
i'm a pixel artist but mainly a program
i'm mainly a program
i'm a program

Also we're using Game Maker. If you can help out, that would be delightful.

no on my end

Is this the official style of the games art?

Is this the official style of the games art?
opposing what zay said i'm going to give it a maybe
because i'm helping (for once) and i don't really have the same art style as zay so there's a chance it'll differ from artist to artist
but yes i think this style is what zay wants to keep close to

I made a few pixel fonts way back.

What kind of objects do you need for the game?

Oh yeah and it took me a really long time to realize that those were city buildings in the background. I though the sky was glitched or something. Perhaps give them a hint of red to make them a tad purple or something?

Adding to what Demian said about the background, the stylized sky you are using does not fit in at all.
